Dr. Dedric L. Jones is a multifaceted leader, educator, and creative producer whose journey has
been deeply shaped by faith, music, and the arts. Born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, he is
the son of Pastor David O. Jones and Mrs. Nadine Lowe. Cultivated in the church, Jones not only
strengthened his faith but also developed a lifelong love for music and creativity—passions that
would guide his ministry and career.

In 2001, Jones began his professional career in higher education, serving first as a recruitment
counselor and later advancing as a career counselor and college instructor. Throughout this
journey, he combined his commitment to student success with his ability to inspire and lead,
leaving a lasting impact on those he served. That same year, he also founded the gospel group
Dedric Jones and Chosen Praise, which quickly gained recognition for its uplifting message and
powerful sound. Over the years, Jones has received national acclaim as a music producer and
songwriter, with projects such as Heart of David, For My Healing…I Worship, Living Live,
Dedric Jones Presents When Friends Meet at Christmas, Psalms for the Little Ones, Volume 1,
Will There Be One-Single, and The I Thank You Project.

Jones is widely respected as an educator, vocal coach, college and career coach, minister, and
motivational speaker. His leadership extended to serving on the Quorum of Directors for the
International Music Department of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) under Professor Iris
Stevenson and Dr. Judith McAllister.

Academically, Jones has built a strong foundation of learning and leadership. He earned his
Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Science with an emphasis in History from the
University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Master of Arts in Leadership with an emphasis in
Business from Dallas Baptist University. He went on to receive his Doctor of Theology from
Adullam Bible College and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Leadership and Creative
Communication with an emphasis on Cultural Enhancement at Nelson University in
Waxahachie, Texas. In addition, he holds credentials as a Certified Career Services Provider
(CCSP) from the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and is licensed as a Global
Career Development Facilitator.

In 2020, Jones expanded his creative voice by publishing a children’s and youth activity book,
“Psalms for the Little Ones Volume 1 Activity Book.” Through this work, and through his
speaking and coaching, he continues to empower young people and adults with inspiration, faith,
and practical tools for growth.

Looking forward, Dr. Jones is preparing to premiere his first film, “It’s Called Life.”
